I’ve had my 2015 Challenger for about six years now and I’ll be the first to admit I’ve been absolutely terrible when it comes to maintaining the paintwork because life just got busy and I kept telling myself I’d get around to it next month and then next month would come and I’d find another excuse. Fast forward to now and the poor thing is covered in swirl marks from automatic car washes, a few nasty scratches on the passenger door that I’m not even sure how they got there, and the hood has this weird hazy patch that I think is from bird droppings that sat too long in the summer heat. I’ve finally decided enough is enough and I’m ready to invest in getting it properly restored because this car deserves better honestly and I want to hold onto it for a few more years at least. I’ve been asking around the local Mopar community and a few people mentioned a spot in Musaffah that really understands the softer clear coats on these cars and doesn’t just treat every vehicle the same regardless of manufacturer. What I’m really after is a full paint correction to get rid of all the imperfections and then a ceramic coating on top to keep it protected against the brutal sun and sand we get over here. I’ve been looking for Trusted Dodge paint correction and ceramic coat in Musaffah specifically because I figure if they’re recommended by other owners who are just as particular as I am then they’re probably worth checking out. I’m honestly a bit nervous about handing my car over for something this involved because I’ve never had this kind of work done before and I don’t know what to expect in terms of timing or pricing or even how to tell if they’ve done a good job versus just polished over the scratches temporarily. If anyone here has gone through this process with their Challenger or Charger and can share their experience, what it cost, how long it took, and whether it was worth it in the end, I’d really appreciate the insight before I take the plunge.
